CONNECT . COMMUNICATE . COLLABORATE

We are fortunate to be represented by a wonderful and motivated team of chapter presidents in each state that host activities and bring the community together. The team shares ideas and best practices to bring meaningful experiences to the community they serve.

I’m a vocalist, an engineer by qualification, and a tech professional with over 10 years of experience at HP Inc. Born in Gujarat, raised in Bangalore, and now embracing a new chapter in Bentonville, Arkansas, I moved to the U.S. less than a year ago — carrying with me a deep love for music, culture, and connection. I’m incredibly passionate about everything Kashmiri —from our soulful music and flavorful cuisine to our language, art, and heritage.

My name is Ankit Koul, and I serve as the Chapter President for Colorado. My parents are originally from Karan Nagar and NaiSadak (Ganpathyar), and we moved to Jammu following the migration in 1990. I was raised in a deeply engaged socio-cultural environment, where promoting our Kashmiri culture and identity has always been a core value. I hold a B.Tech from VIT Pune and an M.S. from Colorado State University. I currently live in Denver, CO, with my wife, Prachi, andparents.

Born and raised in Jaipur in the Tikku family, I have always been deeply connected to my Kashmiri roots. Life took a new turn when I married Shashi Bhat, who was born and brought up in Chanpura, Srinagar.
While my children may not speak Kashmiri, they certainly know the flavors of home—relishing dishes like rogan josh, yakhani, dum aloo, and paneer kalia. Through food, traditions, and community, we continue to keep our Kashmiri spirit alive, no matter where life takes us.

I was born in Kashmir and moved to United States to pursue education in computer science. Over the years, I have built a diverse professional background, working in a technology firm, real estate industry, and managing a medical practice. Now settled in Louisiana near New Orleans, I remain deeply connected to my cultural roots through my involvement with KOA.Though the Kashmiri community in the area is small, I am happy to network and foster connections within the local chapter and beyond, enriching the shared cultural identity of our community members across the states.

I am Deepti Pandita born in Baramulla in beautiful Kashmir Valley. Grew up in Jammu, completing my schooling after my family was displaced from our home, Kashmir in 1990. As a migrant, I pursued Electronics engineering from Maharashtra. I am currently working as a Director in Cadence Design System. I am married to Amit Singh, my mentor and life partner. We are proud parents of two handsome boys - Aarav Singh 13 andAarush Singh 10 who are the center of our lives.

Rashmi, born and raised in Srinagar iscommitted to KP culture & community and currently serves as a core team member of KOA's Heritage committee. She dedicates her time to various impact-only communities, with a focus on purpose-driven Human Health and Environmental ventures. With over two decades of multi disciplinary experience and a diverse network, Rashmi has worked across 20+ countries. Rashmi holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology & Chemistry from Delhi University, complemented by studies in Strategy and International Business. She is married to Vikram Khosa and lives in Austin, Texas.

I have been actively involved in the Dallas-area Kashmiri community since 2008, passionately working to preserve and celebrate our rich cultural heritage. My ancestors were displaced from the Valley in the 1650s along with about 150 other families, and I am the seventh generation out of Kashmir. Despite the distance in time and geography, our family has remained deeply rooted in Kashmiri traditions—thanks in large part to my grandfather, who ensured we visited various parts of Kashmir to stay connected with our origins. I am married to Amit Shivpuri, and we are blessed with a son and daughter.

Namaskar, my name is Jyoti Zutshi Pandita. I was born and raised in Habba Kadal, Srinagar. I left Kashmir in 1990 and moved to Jammu due to the exodus, which I experienced first hand. I pursued my engineering degree in Pune, and after marriage, I moved to New Jersey. I have been living in Salt Lake City, Utah, since 2002. I am married to Sunny Pandita, a physician. We are proud parents of two children: Siya and Shayan. Siya is a senior at the University of California, Berkeley, and Shayan is a freshman at Duke University. I am currently working at Canyons School District as an educational support instructor.
